Brett Ferguson of Weyburn, SK, was first elected to the FCL Board in 2022. He is one of the directors elected by District 3 which is comprised of 44 member co-ops in Southern Saskatchewan. Brett has primary responsibility for 14 member co-ops.
As an FCL Director, Brett is the Chair of the Board's Sustainability Committee.

Brett has served as a member of the Prairie Sky Co-op Board of Directors since 2013 and served as board chair from 2019 to 2022.

Brett received the Co-opDirector.D designation which is the first co-operative director designation in Canada and part of FCL’s Director Development Program.

Brett is currently employed as an Insurance Broker specializing in Large Farm and Commercial Accounts. He obtained his CAIB designation in 2013. He has also joined a founding Movie Theatre Co-operative hoping to be able to provide the service to the community of Weyburn.

Brett lives in Weyburn, SK, with his wife Holly, and 4 children and enjoys following them around in the various activities that they participate in.
