Fuel Good Day 2024: Fuelling communities across Western Canada

Co-op invites members and customers to visit their local Co-op Gas Bar and fill up on Sept. 17 for Fuel Good Day 2024. Participating Co-ops will donate a minimum of five cents per litre sold to a local registered charity or non-profit organization in their community.

“We’re so proud of the positive impact Fuel Good Day has had in communities across Western Canada,” said Heather Ryan, FCL CEO. “Since Fuel Good Day started in 2017, the generosity of both our members and customers has helped Co-op raise more than $4.3 million for worthwhile initiatives in the communities we serve. Once again, we encourage you to come out, fill up your fuel tanks and help us make a difference.”

In previous years, the funds raised as part of Fuel Good Day have supported various initiatives across Western Canada, including improving health care, providing much-needed support to children and their families, and making it easier for kids to participate in the sports they love.

“There are so many community causes and initiatives that Fuel Good Day supports across Western Canada,” said Ryan. “Fuel Good Day is an exciting, unique and important day for our Co-operative. We take great pride in the fact that the fuel we produce right here in Western Canada, has a lasting impact in communities throughout our Co-operative Retailing System.”
