Co-op’s annual Fuel Good Day to support communities across Western Canada

Co-op will further its commitment to community by hosting Fuel Good Day on Sept. 19 in communities across Western Canada.

When members and customers fill up at their local Co-op Gas Bar, participating Co-op’s will donate a minimum of five cents per litre to a local registered charity or non-profit organization in the local community.

“Co-op has a vested interest in the strength of our communities and their people. Initiatives like Fuel Good Day help us deliver on that commitment,” said Heather Ryan, FCL, CEO. “It is quite remarkable the impact a tank of gas can have on those who need a helping hand. We encourage our members and customers to come out and help us make a difference.”

Since 2017, Co-op locations across Western Canada have donated $3.65 million to local registered charities and non-profit organizations as part of Fuel Good Day.
