FCL renews its commitment to the Canadian Centre for the Study of Co-operatives
October 15, 2024
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is pleased to announce that it is providing $1.3 million in funding to the Canadian Centre for the Study of Co-operatives (CCSC).
Today’s announcement is part of our ongoing commitment to the University of Saskatchewan’s (USask) Be What the World Needs Campaign. Our support has totalled nearly $4.5 million over the campaign period. To recognize that support, a space in the Diefenbaker Building at USask was renamed the Co-op Collaborative Room.
“We’re proud of both our long-standing partnership and our ongoing commitment to the University of Saskatchewan and the CCSC,” said Heather Ryan, FCL CEO. “Together, we remain focused on fostering research and education that strengthens the co-operative movement and supports communities and their own co-operative needs.”
FCL has consistently supported the CCSC since the Centre’s establishment some 40 years ago. Our ongoing support has helped incorporate co-operative education and research into the university environment and beyond.
